What really matters???
What truly matters in this life, or the next???
My husband was laid off at the beginning of June 2020, over three and a half years ago now. He has continued to struggle finding a “real” job due to many factors, but I won’t go into politics and other things here. He currently is substitute teaching and working on a certification.
I am currently homeschooling our younger two, driving the older two to and from college class (can’t pay for car insurance and cars for 16- and 17-year-old boys right now). I am also working on growing my business and decided the direction I plan to go requires another degree.
Currently I am working on a applications development degree. Yes, that means making apps for phones and computers, I am super excited about it!!! This means life is super busy though.
The move to the RV was to help save money during these transitions, but it meant going from 2,000 square feet to 300 square feet. It meant looking at EVERYTHING we owned and deciding if it was worth keeping.
Where do I put my grandparents’ (both deceased now) china? Obviously couldn’t keep it when you live in the equivalent of a bus. Was it worth keeping??
We had to weed out most books since the RV can only hold 22,000 pounds, that is water and people in that weight limit. Which books were “worth” the small space we have for them??
While most of you won’t have to worry about really cutting down like we have had to, I am sure there are things in life that are holding you back. Whether it is time, health, or stuff, there are things that probably need to be “tossed” out this year to make room for what really matters to you in this life, or the next.
I would love to hear what you need to “toss” this year.
Blessings,
Melissa
PS I am currently working on an email course to help make meal planning easier, if this is something you would be interested in, please let me know.
